Alex joined ELC in 2020 and quickly progressed within the team, becoming Lettings Department Manager in 2022. Now leading New Business for ELC, he focuses on growing the Edinburgh portfolio and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new landlords and properties.

Outside of work, Alex is passionate about sports, with a particular love for football and tennis. He also enjoys staying active at the gym and unwinding with a good movie.

Banafsheh joined ELC in November 2016 and plays a key role in managing Accounts and Human Resources. With a strong background in financial control and Level 6 ARLA qualifications, she brings expertise, precision, and a dedication to operational efficiency that greatly benefits the team. Her efforts ensure the company’s financial health and foster a positive work environment.

Outside of work, Banafsheh is an avid traveler who loves exploring new cultures and gaining fresh perspectives. She also enjoys leisurely walks, finding peace and rejuvenation in the beauty of nature. Her diverse interests and commitment makes her an invaluable member of the ELC Sales & Lettings team.

Matt is an experienced marketing professional with over nine years’ expertise across marketing, operations, and business growth. He has worked with both established companies and fast-moving startups, leading projects in brand development, digital campaigns, and technology rollouts. At KnightBain and Edinburgh Letting Centre Group, Matt leads the marketing function, shaping strategy, performance analysis, and brand positioning. Known for blending creative thinking with a structured, analytical approach, he focuses on delivering measurable results while strengthening the group’s profile in a competitive market.

Outside of work, Matt is a passionate cook who loves experimenting with new recipes, especially curries. Fluent in French, he’s also a keen traveler and spends as much time outdoors as possible.

Christina brings a wealth of sales and property experience to the team. She spent many years working for leading estate agencies in London prior to relocating to Scotland. She first joined ELC in 2020 and now heads up the rapidly expanding sales side of our business. In order to accomodate the busy lives of our clients, she makes herself available not only during “normal" business hours but also in the evenings and weekends, by appointment. Her wealth of experience, dedication and empathy are invaluable in guiding both sellers and buyers through their moving journeys – which are universally acknowledged as major life events.

In her personal life, Christina spends a considerable amount of time on the tennis court, enjoys Mindfulness and Pilates, cooking international recipes and exploring the Pentlands and all Scotland has to offer.

Joseph joined ELC in September 2024 as a Trainee Property Manager and is currently working towards his ARLA Propertymark Level 6 qualification in Residential Letting & Property Management. With a background in hospitality, Joseph brings excellent interpersonal skills to the team to provide the best experience to our landlords and tenants.

When he’s not in the office, Joseph is a big rugby fan, both watching and playing. In the evenings, he loves to unwind by immersing himself in video games or a new TV series.
