Help us to save our furry friends!

What would I do without you my precious furry friend? Part mischief, but all blessing and faithful to the end! You look at me with the eyes of love; you never hold a grudge…You think I’m far too wonderful to criticize or judgeA few short years are all we have; but you, my furry friend, will always have a place within my heart.

In 1883, the home for lost and starving Dogs was founded in Comely Bank Gardens. The official opening of the Sea field site took place on 6 November 1957 and in the following year, officially changed its name to Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home. As you all must have heard on the news unfortunately they are suffering in this hard time and need your help now more than ever. The team at Edinburgh Letting Centre has come up with the idea of raffling two Christmas hamper baskets to raise money for our furry friends. We would appreciate it if you could make a donation, preferably a voucher from your own business to be raffled. This way we can attract more people to shop locally at our friends and neighbours in Bruntsfield.

Please get back to me by email by the 5th of November if you are able to help. One of our team members can collect your donation. You can also buy the raffles’ yourself, they are £2.50 each and there are 4 prices (2 Christmas Hampers, Selection of Spirits and Wine). Raffles’ can be purchased by cash in our office, however we also take the card payments or transfers. The winnng raffles will be announced on 4th December.

The team at Edinburgh Letting Centre greatly appreciate your support.
